The focus on local AI

Our products, including the HITS Inventarmanager and the HITS emergency call centre, use our locally hosted AI technology to offer you maximum security and data protection. These AI systems operate autonomously and do not require a connection to external cloud services. This independence means that all calculations and data processing are carried out exclusively locally. This not only reduces the attack surface for potential cyber attackers, but also protects your data from potential security vulnerabilities that can arise when using cloud services.

The possibility of data being tapped or misused in the cloud is a serious risk that we eliminate with our local approach. Our systems are designed to process and store all relevant data within our secure network without it being sent to the cloud.

Smarthome risks emphasise the need for data protection

The results of the BSI’s survey on IT security in the smart home show that many users underestimate the dangers posed by smart home devices. While only 42 per cent of respondents are aware that smart home devices can be affected by malware, only a few users take measures such as strong passwords or regular security updates. This poses a significant risk, as many of these devices are vulnerable to hacker attacks in which criminals could use smart home devices for botnets or eavesdrop on private conversations via smart speakers.

Such scenarios emphasise the need to focus on security and data protection from the outset – which is exactly what we do with our locally hosted AI solutions.
